Competitive compensation and growth opportunities in accounting and finance.Job DescriptionSenior Accountant Overview The Senior Accountant will oversee accounting, financial reporting, and compliance functions within the management company. Collaborate with the Controller to ensure accurate general ledger maintenance and financial statement preparation. Gain exposure to private equity fund operations and cross-functional tasks including tax compliance and compensation administration. Utilize ERP systems like NetSuite for data extraction, reconciliation, and reporting. Contribute to intercompany allocations and expense-sharing arrangements among management company entities. Support tax compliance processes, including partnership tax filings and state/local tax matters. Assist in maintaining internal controls documentation and desk procedures for accounting processes. Participate in systems implementations and automation initiatives within the Accounting and Finance function. Work closely with senior finance leadership to enhance operational efficiency.Senior Accountant Key Responsibilities & Duties Manage general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and account reconciliations. Prepare financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses. Maintain intercompany allocations and expense-sharing arrangements. Support payroll-adjacent tasks, including compensation statements and benefits administration. Coordinate tax compliance workstreams with external tax advisors. Assist with financial reviews and presentations for firm leadership. Enhance desk procedures and internal controls documentation. Utilize ERP systems for data reconciliation and reporting. Engage in automation initiatives to improve accounting processes.Senior Accountant Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 5–7 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in private equity or financial services. CPA certification or active pursuit preferred. Proficiency in U.S. GAAP and general ledger accounting. Experience with ERP systems, particularly NetSuite, and advanced Excel skills. Familiarity with partnership tax concepts is a plus. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines. Excellent communication skills and collaborative working style. High level of discretion when handling confidential financial information.
