Senior Accountant

Our client, a leading financial services firm in Greenwich, CT, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their growing team. This is a hands-on corporate accounting role focused on management company accounting, financial reporting, and supporting month-end close processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in management company accounting, experience in fast-paced environments, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Responsibilities Include: Execute day-to-day corporate accounting operations, including general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities Assist with the preparation and review of financial statements and management reports in accordance with GAAP Support external audits and coordinate with auditors as needed Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial deliverables Partner with internal teams on ad hoc projects and process improvements Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred but not required Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, ideally within financial services (asset management, private equity, hedge funds, or similar) Strong management company / corporate accounting background Solid understanding of US GAAP and internal control frameworks Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with strong attention to detail #J-18808-Ljbffr Mission Staffing
