Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department | Operating Room Location: Rutherfordton, NC Job Type: Full-Time | On-Site About the Role This is an excellent opportunity for an Emergency Department RN who enjoys variety, critical thinking, and providing patient-centered care in a close-knit hospital environment. Key Responsibilities Perform accurate and thorough patient assessments and identify patient needs. Initiate appropriate nursing interventions based on assessment findings. Provide age- and condition-appropriate nursing care. Complete timely and accurate documentation in the medical record. Develop, implement, and revise interdisciplinary care plans. Collaborate with providers and multidisciplinary teams to support quality patient outcomes. Provide timely emergency care, stabilization, and transition of care. Maintain effective communication and teamwork in a fast-paced ED environment. Requirements Current North Carolina RN license or Compact RN license with NC endorsement. BLS certification required within 30 days of hire. ACLS certification required within 90 days of hire. Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred.
