We are seeking a motivated and compassionate PCA for a school-based position supporting students in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area for the 2026–2027 academic year.

Position Details:

• Number of Positions: 1
• Setting: Onsite Only
• Hours: TBD – school hours

Contract Period: Asap – May/June 2027
Schedule: Monday–Friday, school hours

School-Based PCAs may provide:

• Direct 1:1 and small group support for students with diverse learning needs
• Assistance with implementation of IEP goals and accommodations
• Support with daily living, communication, and social skills development
• Behavioral support and de-escalation assistance
• Collaboration with classroom teachers and multidisciplinary teams
• Data collection and progress monitoring under teacher or specialist supervision
• Assistance with instructional activities and classroom management
• Support during transitions, lunch, specials, and other school activities

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Education or related field preferred
• Pennsylvania Act 34 (Criminal History), Act 151 (Child Abuse History), and FBI Fingerprint clearances required prior to start
• Experience working with students with disabilities preferred
• Knowledge of IEPs and special education processes a plus
• Strong communication, patience, and organizational skills

Compensation:
This is a W-2 hourly position. Compensation varies based on experience and qualifications. Hourly rates are competitive and negotiable.
