Associate Attorney

A well-established Chicago boutique practice dedicated exclusively to representing victims of international terrorism, genocide and other human rights abuses in complex civil litigation is adding a 3+ year trial attorney to their team!

The firm focuses on holding financial institutions, corporations, and state sponsors accountable for their roles in funding or enabling terrorist activity and has represented more than 19,000 victims across 26 countries. The practice combines litigation with a robust in-house human rights and counterterrorism research division that supports global investigations and case development working closely with an international network of co-counsel and has achieved significant recoveries for victims while advancing legislative initiatives to expand access to justice.

Requirements

· Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree

· 3+ years of trial/litigation experience, including federal court practice

· Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

· Interest in counterterrorism, human rights, and/or financial litigation

· Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment

· Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
