Crane Operator

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Crane Operator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience safely operating overhead cranes to load and unload steel coils while supporting warehouse and manufacturing operations. Responsibilities

• Operate overhead cranes to safely load and unload steel coils from trucks and work centers.
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Operate tow motors/forklifts as needed.
• Perform order picking and material movement throughout the facility.
• Assist with warehouse and manufacturing support duties.
• Maintain accurate inventory through inventory control procedures.
• Utilize scanners, computers, and scales to complete daily tasks.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures while handling materials.
• Keep work areas organized and clean.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Crane Operator in a manufacturing, warehouse, or steel processing environment.
• Experience loading and unloading steel coils is required.
• Tow motor/forklift experience preferred.
• Inventory control experience is a plus.
• Experience using computers, barcode scanners, and scales is preferred.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced industrial environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Excellent attendance and reliability are required.
• Ability to lift, bend, stand, and perform physical work throughout the shift.
