Litigation Paralegal

Mid‑sized Austin based law firm with great culture Job Details Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year. We are a well established, mid‑sized, Austin based law firm that practices in commercial litigation, IP litigation, eminent domain law, environmental law, and more. We value integrity and teamwork, and we are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. Responsibilities Assist attorneys in all stages of litigation cases from onset through post‑trial. Conduct pre‑claim investigation, legal research, and initial case assessments. Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, discovery requests and responses, procedural motions, and correspondence. Organize and manage documents, compiling productions into databases. Coordinate and prepare materials for court filings and hearings, including exhibits and evidence. Prepare for trial by organizing evidence, preparing exhibits, scheduling witnesses, and ensuring all deadlines are met. Manage logistics for depositions, including scheduling, document preparation, and transcript management. Maintain and update case files, calendars, and trial deadlines. Facilitate communication between clients, attorneys, experts, and court personnel. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal. Paralegal certification or equivalent. Proficiency in trial preparation and knowledge of the litigation process, court rules, and procedures. Experience in document management and discovery, including e‑discovery. Strong research skills and proficiency in legal research tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and legal case management software. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
