Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care in the labor and delivery unit, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of mother and newborn.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document interventions using the electronic health record system.
• Ensure adherence to hospital policies and standard procedures for maternal and newborn care.
• Assist with post-partum patients as necessary, ensuring smooth transitions and continuing care.
• Participate in the orientation and mentorship of new staff, sharing expertise and best practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of recent labor and delivery nursing experience.
• Active and unencumbered California RN license.
• Current certifications in ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, and NRP.
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system required.
• Must be willing to float between like units as needed by facility.
• Experience in a Trauma Level II hospital setting preferred.
