Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse / Labor and Delivery – Santa Rosa, CA 95405

Start Date: June 29, 2026

Location: Northern California

Schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00), with 4x12 available upon request. Patient ratio 1:3. Weekend coverage per unit needs. Candidates must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year). Orientation: 36 hours. Guaranteed hours with one potential call-off per two-week pay period.

Highlights:

• 277-bed acute care hospital utilizing Epic charting system
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and social services
• Baby-friendly protocols with full lactation support and couplet care capabilities
• Experience with diverse patient populations including neonates, adolescents, and adults
• May float to postpartum and affiliated facilities as needed
• 13-week travel assignment with potential housing support

Requirements:

• Active California RN license in hand (no pending licenses accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of labor and delivery experience required; postpartum experience is a hard requirement
• Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP
• Preferred certification: AWHONN Advanced
• Epic charting experience required
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
• Competency in high-risk deliveries, fetal monitoring, C-section recovery, neonatal resuscitation, and comprehensive labor and delivery skills
