Cash Accountant

We are seeking a diligent and proactive Cash Accountant to manage daily cash reconciliations and perform essential accounting duties. This role requires an individual who can efficiently handle financial discrepancies, support month-end processes, and perform vital administrative tasks to ensure smooth department operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily cash reconciliations for designated sales centers.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in collaboration with sales center personnel.
• Reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts during the month-end close.
• Prepare and post journal entries, including adjustments and reclassifications as required.
• Contribute to the month-end closing procedures as needed.
• Handle administrative functions such as registration and documentation.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the finance team.

Qualifications

• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Prior accounting experience is advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Familiarity with accounting systems is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is essential.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the capability to meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Exceptional customer service skills, both written and verbal.
