Staff Accountant

Why Consider This Opportunity Hands-on exposure to month-end close and general ledger accounting Opportunity to strengthen your experience with financial reporting and account analysis Exposure to audit and SEC reporting support Opportunity to work closely with experienced accounting professionals Variety of responsibilities and ad hoc accounting projects Professional growth and development potential Hybrid flexibility after the initial training and ramp-up period Key Responsibilities Assist with month-end close by preparing journal entries and performing variance analysis Reconcile balance sheet accounts Maintain schedules for fixed assets, prepaids, and other accruals Support audits and SEC reporting by preparing supporting documentation and analyzing data Perform ad hoc accounting and financial reporting projects as requested by management Provide general accounting support to senior staff as needed Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Minimum 1 year of experience with month-end close procedures, including preparing journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and account analysis Strong understanding of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including lookups and pivot tables Strong attention to detail Ability to take initiative and work effectively in a dynamic environment Preferred Qualifications CPA or currently working toward CPA licensure Public-company experience, including exposure to SEC reporting and compliance Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central #J-18808-Ljbffr SNI Companies
