Staff Accountant

Perform daily accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records. Prepare and post journal entries and assist with month‑end and year‑end close. Reconcile general ledger accounts, bank accounts, and other balance sheet accounts. Review transactions for accuracy and proper account coding. Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other accounting functions as needed. Research and resolve discrepancies in financial records and account balances. Prepare financial reports, schedules, and supporting documentation. Assist with maintaining accurate records and documentation for audits. Support the accounting team with budgeting, forecasting, and other financial analysis as needed. Ensure accounting activities are completed accurately and in accordance with company policies and procedures. Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. 2+ years of accounting experience preferred. Strong understanding of general accounting principles. Experience with general ledger accounting and account reconciliations. Strong Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience with Sage Intacct or another accounting/ERP system is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
