Staff Accountant

Responsibilities Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations. Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP. Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts while identifying and resolving discrepancies. Partner with leadership to provide financial analysis, reporting, and insights that support business decisions. Assist with external audits, regulatory reporting, and internal control compliance activities. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, scalability, and reporting accuracy. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required. 1-2 years of progressive accounting experience. Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting. Advanced Excel skills; NetSuite or similar ERP experience preferred. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Experience in insurance, financial services, or multi-entity environments is a plus. CPA or CPA-track candidates are highly preferred. Why Join?
