What You’ll Do as a Paramedic: Provide high-quality patient care in pre-hospital and inter-facility transport settings. Perform advanced life support (ALS) and basic life support (BLS) interventions within scope of practice. Assess, diagnose, treat, and transport patients with a wide range of medical conditions and injuries. Deliver compassionate care while representing KQT with professionalism. Requirements: Delaware Paramedic (EMT-P), or ability to get reciprocity upon hire (PA and MD certification a plus, required once hired). Current and valid ALS certification. Current certification cards for all applicable skill-based levels (BTLS, PALS, NALS, etc.). Valid driver’s license preferred & EVO. High school diploma or GED equivalent. Background check & child abuse clearance. Strong attendance, punctuality, and professional communication skills. Computer skills required for timekeeping, scheduling, communication, and charting. Ability to meet the physical demands of the role: lifting/moving patients (125 lbs unassisted/250+ lbs assisted), including carrying patients up/down stairs, using stretcher, and stair chairs, extended periods of sitting/standing, and frequent movement.
