Job Title: Commercial Electrician - Paying $60 an hour

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Electrician to join our team, working primarily on projects at Hagerstown Community College and Boonsboro High School. Your role will involve installing conduit, pulling wire, and setting up panel boxes. Additional tasks include installing LED lights, MC cables, receptacles, and potentially operating an aerial lift.

Responsibilities

• Install conduit, pull wire, and set up panel boxes.

• Install LED lights, MC cables, and receptacles.

• Operate an aerial lift when required.

• Read blueprints and apply them to the electrical installations.

• Perform conduit bending and installation.

• Work in various commercial environments including retail fit-outs, warehouses, and new retirement centers.

Essential Skills

• At least 3 years of experience as a Commercial Electrician.

• Reliable transportation to job sites.

• Experience in bending and installing conduit.

• Possession of own electrical tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Aerial lift certification.

• Proficiency in reading blueprints.

• Familiarity with operating mechanical equipment such as boom lifts.

Work Environment

Work in diverse commercial settings including retail fit-outs, warehouses, and new retirement centers. Tasks may require working both indoors and outdoors. Projects are expected to continue until September/October with potential for permanent placement. Work hours are Monday to Friday, from 6:30 am to 4:00 pm. Dress code includes jeans, steel toes, t-shirt, high-visibility clothing, hard hat, and harness.

This is a Contract position based out of Hagerstown, MD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
