Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized physical therapy treatment for up to 7 patients per day, ensuring comprehensive care for each individual.
• Conduct thorough patient evaluations to assess needs and develop customized treatment plans based on clinical findings.
• Utilize evidence-based rehabilitation techniques, such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to promote optimal recovery.
• Educate patients and their families about exercise regimens, self-management strategies, and preventive measures to enhance long-term recovery.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting treatment plans and progress regularly in accordance with facility protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and care coordinators, to ensure a holistic approach to patient rehabilitation.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development activities to stay updated on best practices in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your main focus will be on individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders. Qualifications

• Active and valid New York State Physical Therapist license.
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy required; Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred.
• At least two years of outpatient experience in a physical therapy setting, specifically focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
