Job Description
Direct Support Professional

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals (DSP). In this role, you will provide meaningful support and guidance to individuals with intellectual disabilities in a residential group home setting.

What You'll Do:

Assist individuals in developing essential daily living skills and activities to promote independence.
Help individuals identify and achieve their personal goals to enhance their quality of life.
Monitor the comfort and safety of those you support while addressing their medical, nutritional, and personal care needs.
Provide emotional support and assistance with general housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry.

Qualifications:

Passion for making a positive impact in people's lives.
No experience is required; we provide thorough training.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Valid U.S. driver's license is required, where applicable.
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
The role involves frequent physical activity, including standing, walking, and bending.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and push/pull up to 40 pounds, with safe transfer of individuals up to 50 pounds.
