Registered Nurse - CCU

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care Unit (CCU). The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes. This position requires a passion for critical care nursing and the ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of nursing principles.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care delivery.
Maintain professional standards while interacting with patients and visitors.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and monitor patient responses.
Document patient care activities accurately and promptly.
May float to different units or facilities as needed.

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
National Institutes of Health (NIH) Stroke Scale certification.
Minimum of one year of recent experience in a critical care setting preferred.

Schedule

This position typically involves 12-hour day shifts, requiring flexibility to accommodate full-hour requirements around any requested time off.

Additional Information

Travelers must reside 150 miles or more from the facility. Our organization values dedication and expertise in nursing, ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care.
