Milling CNC Machinist The Milling CNC Machinist operates CNC machines to support the manufacture of components and devices for the medical device industry. Shifts available: 2nd Shift 3:30 pm - 3:30 am. Sign-on bonus available: $1,000-$10,000 dependent on level of experience! Duties and Responsibilities Milling CNC Machinist duties and responsibilities include: Operate Milling CNC machines Perform quality inspection on completed parts Perform preventative maintenance on Milling CNC machines to ensure consistent machine performance Complete tool changes Position Requirements Milling CNC Machinist position requirements include: Operator experience with Milling CNC machines Strong math background, preferable in machine math/shop math Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) Ability to read and interpret blueprints Experience using a microscope Ability to read measurement equipment such as micrometer, caliper, pressure micrometer Milling CNC Machinist preferred knowledge, skills and abilities include: Machining experience with medical components, devices, or instruments Previous experience with tight tolerances Programming experience with Milling CNC Machines Experience with set-up on Milling CNC Machines Experience in troubleshooting of Milling CNC Machines Pay Range USD $21.20 - USD $40.67 /Hr. Pay Range Details This pay range reflects the base hourly rate or annual salary for positions within this job grade, based on our market-based pay structures. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, internal equity, business needs, and local market conditions. While the full hiring range is shared for transparency, offers are rarely made at the minimum or maximum of the range.
