DESCRIPTION OF WORK This position supports statewide indigent defense initiatives by analyzing data, guiding program development, and assisting advisory committees. As a Program Analyst 3, you will perform the following duties: 1. Committee Support: Provide staff assistance to the Indigent Defense Advisory Committee and its subcommittees 2. Program Analysis: Conduct evaluations of indigent defense programs and prepare reports with findings and recommendations 3. Grant Oversight: Monitor assigned grants, review program reports, and offer guidance to ensure compliance 4. Project Management: Coordinate required deliverables and manage key planning and implementation tasks 5. Data Assessment: Develop metrics, gather information, and analyze results to measure program impact 6. Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. 3. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: 1. One year as a Program Analyst 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or 2. Three years of analytical experience, two of which include professional experience in program evaluation and the development of program recommendations, and a bachelor's degree; or 3.
