Subcontractor Default Insurance Lead

Shepherd, a technology-driven MGU, seeks an experienced Subcontractor Default Underwriting Lead in Los Angeles to guide the expansion of our SDI product. You will shape underwriting strategy, leverage broker networks, and drive profitable growth across construction-focused insurance offerings. You'll lead a team of underwriters, manage partnerships with capacity providers, and travel about 25% to meet brokers and teams nationwide as the business scales in a rapidly evolving market.
