Job Duties

• Produces and remits various regulatory reports in a timely manner
• Provides relevant reports to committee members for the credit union's asset/liability and allowance for credit loss committees
• Prepares credit union financial and asset/liability reports
• Develop implementation enhancements, performs back testing, and facilitates periodic third-party validations
• Maintains the credit union's investment accounting ledgers and reports
• Participates in administrative and operational support of credit union departments
• Assists with the preparation of the credit union's annual budget and forecasting
• Provide ongoing monitoring and advice in credit union accounting matters especially emerging issues relating to the Funds Management Policy, the Allowance for Loan Loss Policy, the Investment Policy, and other relevant credit union policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. MBA and/or CPA designation desired.
• Double entry, accrual accounting experience required.
• Previous experience in financial institution accounting or operations is preferred.
• Previous experience in data mining, analysis, and interpretation.
• Able to work in direct, professional contact with a wide variety of people on a daily basis.
• Able to work independently with accuracy under moderate to severe time constraints.
• Must be bondable.
