Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | 20-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to low and high-risk Labor and Delivery patients across triage, LDR, and OR settings
• Perform and interpret external fetal monitoring, including recognition and treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns
• Circulate for C-section procedures as needed
• Float to Perinatal unit as needed based on census and staffing requirements
• Care for a patient population including neonates, adolescents, and adults
• Utilize unit systems including SBAR communication, Omnicell, and eMD Allscripts

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Labor and Delivery RN experience required
• Active California RN license required at time of submission
• Epic EMR experience required
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Advanced certifications required
• Must be available to work 4 weekend shifts per month (Friday or Saturday nights)
• Must be willing to work most holidays; smoke/nicotine-free facility compliance required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-volume OB unit with integrated hospitalist and OB anesthesia coverage
• Familiarity with Omnicell and eMD Allscripts unit systems
• Experience with both low and high-risk Labor and Delivery patient populations
