Texas Licensed Risk Placement Specialist

Evaluating and placing commercial insurance new business opportunities, the full-time Texas Licensed Risk Placement Specialist will negotiate terms with insurance carriers and underwriters while working hybrid or remotely. Key responsibilities Review commercial insurance submissions and develop placement strategies to secure competitive coverage solutions Negotiate terms and obtain quotes from insurance carriers to facilitate successful placements Maintain productive relationships with insurance carriers, underwriters, and internal producer partners to enhance business opportunities Required qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred 5 years of commercial insurance experience within a retail brokerage or independent agency Experience marketing and placing commercial insurance accounts Knowledge of E&S Marketplace coverage is required P&C License required; advanced industry designation(s) (e.g., CPCU, CIC, ARM) a plus
