Associate Attorney

Clyde & Co US LLP seeks an associate to join our growing Seattle office. The practice covers a wide range of liability and insurance challenges including insurance coverage and bad faith, catastrophic injury and wrongful death, UIM defense, premises liability, trucking/transportation claims, and employment and property disputes.

Responsibilities

• Take depositions, attend hearings, and mediations as required.
• Draft and submit pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Prepare correspondence to colleagues and clients.
• Conduct legal research using Westlaw, Lexis, and Nexis.
• Draft discovery requests and discovery responses.
• Review and analyze documents and materials for production.
• Actively investigate claims and prepare case handling strategies.
• Report to insurance carrier clients and insureds.
• Prepare cases for trial/mediation and participate in trial/mediation.

Qualifications

• Admitted to practice in Washington state.
• Experience in civil litigation.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and time‑sensitive matters simultaneously.
• Effective problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.

Salary Range : $145,000 – $175,000.
