These markets include aerospace and defense, factory automation, air and water quality environmental monitoring, electronics design and development, oceanographic research, deepwater oil and gas exploration and production, medical imaging and pharmaceutical research.Teledyne Reynolds (a business unit of Teledyne Defense Electronics, LLC) has over 60 years of heritage supplying the highest quality, high voltage interconnect solutions to the most demanding of applications in the Military/Defense, High-end Industrial, Medical, Energy and Space industries.We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team!We are truly EverywhereyoulookWhat You'll Do:Reads worksheets and wiring diagrams, selects components, such as integrated circuits, contacts, wires, and connectors.Mold cable assemblies, monitoring temperature, pressure and visual indicators.Remove flash from molded cable assemblies using hand tools.Uses hand and small power tools to place small components in boards, cables, connectors, etc. Inspect parts and performs basic tests.May perform other assembly tasks such as potting, encapsulating, sanding, cleaning, epoxy bonding, curing, stamping, etching, and color-coding parts and assemblies.May perform work (soldering and general inspection) under microscope.Ensures that quality checks are completed throughout the manufacturing process.Records information on production records, logs and other report forms.Provides basic training and instruction to lower-level assemblers on day-to-day assignments.What You Need:High school education or equivalent0-2 years related experienceSoldering experience preferredAbility to handle/use small tools and components (tweezers, pliers, cutters, soldering iron, ovens, crimpers, screwdrivers, wire cutters, wrenches, vises and continuity testers, oscilloscopes and electrical test equipment)Working under a microscopeExcellent communication skills (written and oral)Excellent math skills (algebra)Read and understand blueprintsAbility to learn and perform mechanical, electrical and swage testingMust be able to follow specific procedures and detailed instructions completely.Ability to lift up 50 lbs.In our efforts to maintain a safe and drug-free workplace, Teledyne Reynolds requires that candidates complete a satisfactory background check and pass a drug screen prior to employment.Due to the type of work at the facility and certain access restrictions, successful applicants must be a "US Person" (US Citizens, US Nationals, lawful permanent residents, asylees or refugees).Salary Range: $34,300.00-$45,700.000The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate.
