Job Summary Provides direct patient care to a diversified patient population. Applies knowledge, experience and judgment to determine the importance of a situation, set priorities, and use abstract thought to evaluate clinical situations. Participates in patient and staff education. Demonstrates leadership skills. Demonstrates accountability for own practices as defined by the California Physician assistant board. Apply By Date: 09/07/2026 by 11:59pm Minimum Qualifications - For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license and/or certification if required of the position Three (3) years full time, or equivalent, experience as an ambulatory Primary Care, Family Practice, or Internal Medicine PA required California Licensed Physicians Assistant (PA) Current BLS and CPRDEA within three (3) months of hire Possession of valid California Physician Assistant license National PA board certification in an aligned specialty with the practice area Graduation with a master's degree or PhD from an accredited Physician Assistant program, or completion of certified Physician Assistant training from an accredited program. Ability to work flexible hours and in multiple clinical locations Ability to meet minimum standards for productivity Ability to cope with personal stress experienced by team members, other professionals, and caretakers Excellent verbal and written communication skills Judgement skills to effectively meet the needs of patients Self-direction and organizational skills to function in an independent role Ability to meet minimum standards for hospital credentialing and billing standards as a billable provider Key Responsibilities 90% - Clinical Practice 10% - Other Professional Activity Department Overview Express Care In-Person offers extended clinic hours to primary care patients across all primary care clinic locations. Department Specific Job Scope Provide primary patient care across all CPG locations including some Saturdays and evening hours.
