Qualifications and Experience:

• Active SLP license in Mississippi (or ability to obtain licensure)
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows (CFs) encouraged to apply
• Prior experience in a school setting is highly valued
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and documentation skills
• Ability to develop and implement effective IEPs and therapy plans

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy to students with diverse needs
• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and contribute to eligibility determinations
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and multi-disciplinary teams to support student goals
• Maintain accurate records and progress reports in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines
• Participate in parent/teacher conferences and IEP meetings
• Stay current with best practices, compliance standards, and professional development
