Structural Steel Business Development Manager

Business Development ProfessionalWe are seeking an experienced Business Development professional to develop new business opportunities and build long-term relationships within the structural steel industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of large and complex structural steel projects, including data centers, airports, e-commerce facilities, stadiums, high-rises, and other major commercial projects.This is a remote position with travel required to meet with customers, attend industry events, and develop new business opportunities.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain relationships with general contractors, construction managers, developers, and other key industry contactsIdentify and pursue new structural steel project opportunitiesBuild and manage a pipeline of potential projects and customersTrack upcoming projects and engage with clients early in the procurement processPrepare and deliver proposals, presentations, and project informationWork closely with estimating, operations, and project management teams to develop opportunitiesAttend customer meetings, industry events, and project meetings as neededMaintain strong relationships with existing customers while expanding the company's market presenceQualifications5+ years of experience in structural steel business development, sales, estimating, or project managementStrong understanding of structural steel fabrication and erectionExperience with large-scale and complex projects such as:Data centersAirportsE-commerce facilitiesStadiumsHigh-rise buildingsLarge commercial and industrial facilitiesEstablished relationships within the construction industry preferredStrong communication, presentation, and negotiation skillsWillingness to travel regularlyCompany OffersRemote work opportunityBase salary of $130,000 - $180,000, plus substantial bonus and commission incentivesStrong benefits package and perksTravel expenses coveredOpportunity to grow within an established structural steel organization
