Plant Genomics Research Technician

The Kreiner Lab and Carley Lab at the University of Chicago seek to hire a shared Laboratory Technician – Research to start in fall 2026. This is a full-time, in-person position split 50/50 between two research groups, in a collaborative environment focused on plant biology and genomics. The role involves routine lab work including DNA extractions, sequencing library prep, PCR assays, tissue culture, and data management, with emphasis on safety and compliance.
