To learn more, visit Job Description Associa is looking for a Human Resource Business Partner to join our team. The Human Resources Business Partner is responsible for managing activities of the human resource (HR)department. These responsibilities include managing HR services and assisting with policies. The HRBusiness Partner serves as an advocate who ensures that all company and employee interactions are handled in a fairand consistent manner. Other responsibilities may, on occasion, include recruiting, new hire orientation, employeedevelopment and training, payroll and compensation and benefit administration. The HR Business Partner may alsobe responsible for employee relations along with performance improvement. Additionally, the HR Business Partner isresponsible for understanding and keeping abreast of compliance and other regulatory concerns. What do we offer? Compensation: $73,000 - $80,000/annually;direct experience highly considered. Employment Type: Full Time Work Location: 42-635 Melanie Place, Ste 103, Palm Desert, CA 92211 Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure policies, procedures and HR programs are consistently administered, aligned with organizational goalsand are in compliance with professional standards, state and federal regulatory requirements and laws. Handle and complete payroll within the required processing timeframes. Submit all payroll changes to Regional HR Manager on a weekly basis. Maintain a high level of professionalism when conducting investigations or having employee improvementconversations. Conduct Interactive Process when triggered by ADA requests. Respond to any subpoena requests for employee records. Defer to Regional HR Manager for any legal issuesassociated with the branch. Provide and maintain required training on an annual basis. Handle and submit any Workers Compensation claims with medical and or lost time. Produce and conduct exit paperwork and interviews upon separation. Handle terminations and defer to Regional HR Manager for any high-level separations. Requirements 3 – 5 years of similar HR experience SHRM or PHRca preferred Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) at an expert level. Knowledge of typical business correspondence (grammar, structure, punctuation, spelling, etc.) at an expertlevel. Knowledge of company policies, procedures and forms at an expert level. Knowledge of State or local governmental safety requirements. Knowledge of conflict resolution techniques at an expert level. Confidentiality and discretion in the performance of all duties and responsibilities. Time management and time critical prioritization skills.
