Certified Surgical Technologist / CST – Obstetrics
Located in: North Central Iowa Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Wednesday | 7 PM – 7 AM | Holiday Rotation Competitive Pay: Based on experience and qualifications

Surgical Technologist Job Responsibilities
- Assist in Labor & Delivery Procedures: Prepare surgical suites, sterilize instruments, and provide hands-on support to OB surgeons during procedures.
- Support Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Float to Med-Surg as Needed: Step in to support the Med-Surg unit when OB patient volume is low.
- Ensure Surgical Safety & Compliance: Maintain sterile fields and follow strict safety protocols for surgical procedures.
- Manage & Restock Equipment: Keep surgical and delivery rooms supplied for emergency and routine procedures.
Requirements
Licensure & Certifications:
- BLS certification required.
Skills & Experience:
- Labor and delivery or surgical scrub experience preferred, but training is available.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in fast-paced settings.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented healthcare environment.
