Facilities Technician (Mid Level) Marlborough MA 01752 Shift: 7AM-3:30PM
Top 3 must haves:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience working as a maintenance technician or skilled trade within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Basic knowledge in two of the following areas: electrical, plumbing/pipefitting, wastewater operations, HVAC-R, boilers/steam systems, RODI/WFI systems, autoclaves, Building Management Systems, Pumps.
- Respond to emergencies, participating in the rotating on-call program
What You'll Do:
- Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility MEP systems, including electrical distribution, HVAC, plumbing, boilers, compressors, pumps, and utility systems, within a laboratory facility environment.
- Perform routine inspections and identify maintenance or repair needs.
- Documenting all work activities in the CMMS.
- Respond to equipment alarms, breakdowns, and facility emergencies to restore safe operation.
Who You Are:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a facilities or skilled trades maintenance technician in a manufacturing or laboratory environment.
- Working knowledge in at least two of the following: electrical systems, HVAC?R, plumbing/pipefitting, boilers/steam systems, wastewater systems, pumps, controls, or RODI/WFI.
- It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Client experience, preferably Metasys Laboratory facility experience. CMMS experience, preferably Infor EAM
