Symetra has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Manager, Stop Loss Claims!About the roleIn this role, you will lead daily claims operations while driving service excellence, operational effectiveness, and continuous improvement. This role is responsible for developing and enhancing claims processes, supporting business growth, and fostering a high-performing team focused on delivering exceptional customer experience. Check out our Symetra Benefits OverviewCompensationSalary Range: $96,700 - $161,200 plus eligibility for annual bonus programWho You AreHigh school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.6+ years of stop loss claims experience, including leadership or management experience.Strong knowledge of self-funded medical plans, stop loss claims administration, and medical terminology.Experience leading teams with a focus on coaching, performance management, and employee development.Knowledge of cost containment strategies and vendor management preferred.Industry engagement (SIIA, SPBA, or related organizations) and professional designations are a plus.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.Able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.Proficient in Microsoft Office; Connexure/ESL experience preferred.Ability to travel as needed to support business and team objectives.Travel:Required Training & Professional DevelopmentAll newly hired people leaders with direct reports are required to complete a comprehensive leadership development program within their first year.
