JOB TITLE: Fabricator

DEPARTMENT: Upland Warehouse

REPORTS TO: Warehouse Supervisor

Location: Upland, CA

FLSA Status: Full Time-

Non-Exempt

Primary Responsibility:

To fabricate glass, mirrors, aluminum and wood products

Essential Functions and responsibilities:

1. Loading and off-loading products from stationary and rolling racks, tables, delivery trucks and/or wood crates.

2. Retrieve production work orders and follow specifications to ensure accuracy.

3. Inspect conditions of tools and machines for proper working conditions prior to use.

4. Cutting and flat polishing glass and mirror products.

5. Cutting, drilling, and fabricating aluminum products.

6. Cutting, drilling, and fabricating wood products.

7. Utilize a tape measure to ensure product is within specifications.

8. Transport materials from one position/location to another in a safe manner.

9. Inspect condition of incoming stock materials, properly placing them in correct locations.

10. Accurately maintain and complete all applicable paperwork.

11. Maintain cleanliness and neatness of warehouse, tools, and machines at all times.

12. Adhere to and enforce safety policies and regulations

13. Understand quality control specifications and maintain throughout fabrication process.

14. Perform other duties as requested.

    essential qualifications:

• 1 year work experience in manufacturing environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• High school diploma/GED required

• Ability to read and understand safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.

• Ability to communicate with supervisors and other employees.

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.

  Physical Requirements:

  While performing the essential functions of this position, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use close vision; use distance vision; use hands to handle and balance objects; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, kneel or crawl. The employee is frequently required to lift or move up to 50 lbs., and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
