Project Engineer

Job DescriptionPerformance Contracting is seeking an experienced Project Engineer for its Masthead International, Inc (MII) - 521 Tempe operations based in Tempe, AZ. This individual will assist in all rigging operations roles working with the oversight of a project manager as they advance to the point of overseeing their own projects.Job responsibilities include:Perform labor control on assigned projects, including setup and maintenancePrepare RFI’s and submittalsQuantitative takeoffs to verify estimates, order materials, and price change ordersCreate and implement job schedules and coordinate with field supervisors and foremenCreate and manage punch lists and job closeout documentationSupport the Quality Control measures outlined in the QA/QC programAssist in other duties as assigned This position is safety-sensitive.Basic RequirementsMust have at least 2 years’ experience supporting or managing construction projectsProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products (e.g., Excel, Word, etc.)Possess a clear understanding of how to read and interpret specifications and drawingsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a team environmentAbility to learn new skills by engaging in the technical job functions and applying new skills as they're learnedStrong customer service skills and relationship-building abilitiesAbility to prioritize and multitask while handling multiple projects concurrently Motivated self-starter with strong work ethic and a willingness to take initiativeWorks well under pressure and deadlinesPossess critical-thinking and problem-solving skillsPreferred RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, or related disciplineStrong ability to read, understand and interpret specifications and drawings for PCI’s scopes of work including specifications for MII scopes of work.Experience managing specialty scopes of constructionOSHA certificationLocal to Tempe, AZ areaThis role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.JobFamilyProject ManagementJobFunctionProject ManagementPayTypeSalary
