Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

In this role, you will deliver impactful physical therapy services to students ages 3–22, ensuring access and opportunities for learning across multiple educational settings—including classrooms, hallways, playgrounds, cafeterias, bathrooms, and virtual environments.

Required Qualifications:

• Licensed by the State of Texas as a Physical Therapist
• Completion of an accredited Physical Therapy education program with all required fieldwork
• Valid driver’s license
• Adherence to Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners' rules, regulations, and code of ethics
• Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative physical therapy services to Special Education students, adapting interventions to diverse school environments
• Support referral, assessment, and evaluation processes; participate actively in IEP meetings and goal development
• Aid educational staff in implementing standards-based IEP goals and integrating adaptive equipment and assistive technology
• Deliver thorough documentation and progress reports; maintain timely communication with staff and parents/guardians
• Stay current with professional best practices, attend professional development, and maintain confidentiality
• Contribute to transition-related services and additional duties as assigned by Special Education leadership
