Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - New Castle, DE

Job Description

Seeking a passionate professional to provide speech-language pathology services for students in K-12th grade for the 2026-2027 school year. Enjoy the opportunity to work on-site with a supportive school community committed to student growth, offering flexibility and supervision for Clinical Fellows or SLPAs.

This contract position runs from ASAP until June 11, 2027, with 35-40 hours each week. School day schedules vary by grade level: elementary hours are 8am-4pm, while middle and high school hours are 6:45am-2:45pm. There’s ample flexibility, and scheduling can be tailored to best fit both your needs and school requirements—options such as 7:30am-3:30pm are possible upon mutual agreement.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility to earn CCC.
SLP licensure in Delaware, active or pending.
Experience serving pediatric, school-based, or healthcare speech therapy needs.
Ability to provide services across all K-12 grade levels.
Willingness to supervise and collaborate with Clinical Fellows or SLPAs.
Spanish language skills are advantageous, but not required.
Capable of clearing a drug screen and background check.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver evidence-based speech-language interventions for students, including screenings, evaluations, and therapeutic plans.
Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication needs.
Maintain thorough documentation and stay compliant with school and state requirements.
Foster inclusion and help students thrive academically and socially.
