Tech - Echo/Ultrasound/Sonographer

Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Echo Tech to provide diagnostic imaging services for a variety of cardiovascular procedures. The role involves supporting physicians in the cath lab, OR, and inpatient units, utilizing advanced echocardiography techniques to assist in complex cardiac cases.

Responsibilities:

• Perform transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms with precision and efficiency.
• Assist providers during TAVR, Watchman, CABG, and valve procedures by providing real-time imaging support.
• Operate and maintain GE Vivid E95 ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal functionality.
• Document clinical findings accurately within Merge and Meditech electronic health systems.
• Collaborate with the team to maintain high patient care standards and workflow efficiency.
• Adhere to all unit-specific policies, safety protocols, and dress code including scrubs.

Qualifications:

• Hold RDCS or RCS certification, demonstrating credentialed expertise in echocardiography.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of recent echocardiography experience within a clinical setting.
• Demonstrate advanced skills in cardiac ultrasound imaging and invasive procedures.
• Be able to work 4 ten-hour shifts weekly, including every third weekend.
• Maintain current BLS certification.
• Show excellent attention to detail and team collaboration skills.
