Key Highlights Weekly pay: $1,228–$1,263 per week Guaranteed hours: None Contract duration: Weeks Shift: 5x8 Evenings Start date: 08/25/2026 Setting: 41-bed short-term rehab unit within a skilled nursing facility focusing on wound care and post-operative care Local candidates: Not accepted (must be >75 miles from facility) Orientation: 16 hours Responsibilities Deliver direct nursing care to adults and geriatrics on a 41-bed short-term rehab unit Perform wound care, including VAC management, IV and PICC care, and nephrostomy care; support post-op orthopedic and cardiac patients Administer medications per physician orders, monitor patient status, and respond to changes in condition Conduct dressing changes, monitor vital signs, and perform routine nursing tasks with attention to patient safety Maintain accurate, timely EPIC documentation and ensure compliance with charting standards Collaborate with physical therapy, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and the unit secretary to coordinate patient care Requirements Active New York LPN license in hand to submit BLS certification EPIC charting experience (hard requirement) Minimum 1 year of nursing experienceAbility to work on a 41-bed short-term rehab unit with wound care and post-op ortho/cardiac care Commitment to the shift schedule (evenings) Benefits and Support Orientation: 16 hours Interdisciplinary unit support including PT, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and unit secretary EPIC charting proficiency and on-site support for charting Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
