Location: Whittier, CA Pay Rate: $46/hr Employment Type: Contingent Start Date: ASAP Assignment Length: Approximately 3+ months

This role plays a critical part in advancing patient health by delivering safe, high-quality nutrition care aligned with clinical standards and regulatory requirements. You'll serve as a trusted nutrition resource, contributing to both patient outcomes and broader care team success.

• Execute the Nutrition Care Process (assessment, diagnosis, intervention, monitoring, and evaluation) to deliver individualized patient care

• Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and develop personalized care plans

• Provide evidence-based nutrition counseling for disease management and recovery

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support continuity of care and optimize patient outcomes

• Maintain accurate, compliant documentation aligned with regulatory standards and clinical protocols

• Educate patients, healthcare staff, and support teams on nutrition best practices

• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and support program development

• Contribute to operational success, including quality outcomes and financial performance

A current, up-to-date resume

Bachelor's degree in nutrition, dietetics, or related field (ACEND-accredited program)

Registered Dietitian credential (RD/RDN) or eligibility with expectation to obtain within 120 days

State licensure/certification as required

Strong knowledge of clinical nutrition and ability to apply evidence-based practices in care settings

Experience in clinical or outpatient nutrition (preferred)

Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of care

Ability to meet compliance requirements
