Travel Physical Therapist - Rehab

American Traveler is seeking a travel Physical Therapist with inpatient rehab experience for a 13-week assignment in a hospital rehab unit in Cypress, TX.

Job Details

• Located on the 2nd floor rehab unit (2N) in the North Tower of a hospital in Cypress, TX,
• 23-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit,
• Day shift, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM with rotating weekends,
• Caseload of 4-6 patients per day,
• Skilled therapy procedures performed on unit,
• EMR is Meditech, transitioning to Meditech Expanse,
• May float to other rehab sites if census is low,

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent physical therapy experience; allied candidates must have 6 months of experience within the last 6 months,
• Inpatient rehab experience required,
• Current BLS (AHA or ARC accepted) required; certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the start date,
• Active TX PT license required (license required if applicable),
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration - no Canadian SSNs accepted,
• One professional reference required,
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months,
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible,

• Navy scrubs required,
