Travel RN - Telemetry - Progressive Care Unit

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Progressive Care/Stepdown Unit (PCU) night shift position in Evansville, IN, requiring at least 1 year of experience and AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.

Job Details

• Works in a Stepdown Intermediate Care unit focused on Progressive Cardiac Care,
• Patient population includes medical, cardiac, pre/post cardiovascular surgery, arrhythmia, heart failure, and stroke overflow patients,
• 28-bed unit with a patient ratio of 1:4-5,
• Night shift schedule: 18:45-07:15,
• 13-week contract,

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in Indiana or a Compact RN license currently in hand,
• Nursys license verification required prior to start,
• Current AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications required,
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required (Group A updated yearly; Groups B-F updated every 2 years),
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required,
• Must possess a valid US Social Security Number and provide a US home address,

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care to a complex cardiac and medical patient population including pre/post CV surgery and stroke overflow,
• Copy of Driver's License and 2 professional references required for consideration,
• Full SSN and full date of birth required for consideration,
