Gerhart is seeking a skilled welder/fabricator to join our talented team based in Tatamy, PA. This is your chance to work on challenging, high-impact projects and grow your career while getting rewarded for your expertise.

What you'll do:

• Fabricate from professional blueprints or sketches as required
• Work with a variety of metal welding and grinding/sanding techniques in order to work at a very high degree of accuracy and finished product
• Fabricate from raw material to finished product

What you bring:

• Familiar with common metal shop tools and equipment. (i.e. welders - TIG & MIG, brazing, cutting torches, grinders, brakes, drills, taps, saws, fixtures, measuring, etc.)
• Effective communication skills is a must
• Capable of working both independently and as a team to perform all jobs and projects
• Previous work experience with pipe fitting, tube bending, compression fitting experience
• Forklift certification
• Physically fit; position requires consistent lifting, moving, and carrying product 50 lb or more
• Willing and able to bend, crawl, and lift for extended periods of time in a safe manner meeting company guidelines and OSHA standards
• Self-motivated with critical thinking skills
