Account Manager (Advertising Agency, non-sales role) (Scottsdale)

ANDERSON is looking for an Account Manager with 5+ years of advertising, marketing or client service experience who is ready to take greater ownership of client relationships and account performance.

What You’ll Own

• Own day-to-day client relationships through proactive communication, thoughtful service and a strong understanding of their business and goals.
• Drive projects from kickoff through delivery, managing timelines, budgets, deliverables and next steps while anticipating needs and addressing issues early.
• Lead coordination across agency teams to keep priorities aligned and work moving smoothly.
• Contribute to strategy and account growth by bringing insights, ideas and recommendations that support client goals.
• Own the account details including briefs, reporting, estimates, billing and documentation.

• Clients trust you to lead the day-to-day. Communication is proactive, expectations are clear and needs are anticipated.
• Projects stay on track. Timelines, budgets and deliverables are managed, with issues identified and addressed early.
• Account work is accurate and client-ready. Briefs, reports, estimates, billing and deliverables are thoughtful and polished.
• Internal teams are aligned. Priorities, deadlines and client expectations are clearly communicated across the agency.
• The work advances client goals. Execution stays connected to strategy, with ideas and opportunities proactively brought forward.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of advertising, marketing or client service experience; agency experience preferred
• Proven experience managing client relationships and projects independently
• Experience managing timelines, budgets and integrated deliverables
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
• Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple accounts and priorities
• Proactive, solutions-oriented and comfortable taking ownership



Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications or a related field
• Experience across integrated marketing channels, including digital, media, creative and/or PR
• Familiarity with project management, reporting and analytics tools
