Distribution SpecialistThe Distribution Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient daily flow of shipping operations and inventory management. This position is responsible for coordinating distribution activities, supporting shipping processes, and maintaining inventory levels to ensure our customers receive the products they need, when they need them.ResponsibilitiesDrive daily flow of work for shipping and inventory customer needs.Responsible for daily product shipments.All inventory related work such as incoming product inspection, product returns, preparing boxes.Stocking up shelves with product and product related supplies.Inventory Management & Reporting.Daily shipping out of Zoho Inventory.Receiving and inspection of incoming inventory.Manage inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of products.Monitor inventory levels to ensure that we do not run out of critical products.Coordinate with customers to ensure timely delivery of products.Work with production teams to identify product needs and ensure that products are available when needed.Receive and inspect incoming products to ensure they meet quality standards.Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular inventory audits.Coordinate with other departments to ensure that products are distributed to the correct locations.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for product storage, handling, and tracking.Maintain a working knowledge of FDA 21 CFR 1271, FDA 21 CFR 820, AATB standards, ISO Standards, cGMP/CGTP, other relevant regulations/standards, and internal organizational policies and standard operating procedures.SkillsAbility to work independently and in a team environment.Excellent attention to detail and organization.Excellent written and verbal communication.Highest level of ethics and integrity.Ability to lead and motivate the right behaviors.Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.Strong knowledge of shipping processes and inventory management systems.Ability to operate warehouse equipment and computer systems.Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of tissue processing industry and regulatory requirements is a plus.Experience working with Microsoft programs.Physical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds.Ability to stand for extended periods of time.Ability to document work with legible handwriting.Ability to climb ladders.Qualifications/RequirementsHigh school degree or equivalent required.At least 2 years of experience in a shipping or inventory management role.Ability to secure and maintain a favorable background investigation and clearance.
