Pay Rate: Up to $65/hr combined (taxable hourly + tax-free allowances for travel, housing, meals). Rates may vary and are subject to change.Additional Bonuses, Group Health Insurance benefits available on day 1, 401k and more! Surgical Registered Nurse (RN)Provides direct care to acute and chronic digestive surgical patients, including bariatric surgery patients.  Key Responsibilities:Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.Monitor vital signs and patient status.Provides post-operative care for the complex surgical population. Monitors and cares for newly tracheostomies. Assesses and maintains wounds that require a wound vac and other complex wound management.Administer medications and treatments, observing for reactions.Maintain accurate patient records and collaborate with physicians and care teams.Assesses, manages and educates patient and families on new ostomies.Adhere to infection control and safety protocols. Requirements:RN license in state of assignment.BLS (AHA) required. Minimum 1 year of relevant nursing experience.Strong clinical, assessment, and communication skills.
