Cardio-Pulmonary M/S RN

Job Summary:
Manage care of acute and chronically ill cardiac and pulmonary patients. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepares patients for procedures, pain management, IV venipuncture, blood administration, monitor labs.
• Discharge patients and provide instruction for safe transitions from hospital.
• Document all care using EMR.
• Administer medications and maintain patient records.
• Observe and report patient responses and complications.
• Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions and treatments.
• Collaborate with healthcare team and participate in shift handoffs.
• Adhere to infection control and emergency response protocols.

 

Requirements:

• RN license in state of assignment.
• BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) required.
• Must have experience in cardiac/tele experience.
• Must have Trauma 1 and Epic experience. 
• Strong assessment, multitasking, and crisis management skills.
