Job Summary: The staff Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver responsible for providing care to a designated group of patients using the nursing process, current trends, technology, and available resources. The RN ensures patient safety, maintains accurate documentation, and collaborates with colleagues to deliver high-quality care. This role involves managing care for acute and chronically ill cardiac and pulmonary patients, implementing interventions, preparing patients for procedures, and ensuring safe transitions from hospital to home.

Required Qualifications:

 

• Minimum one (1) year of relevant nursing experience.
• ASN degree.
• Illinois state RN License in good standing.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association).

Preferred Qualifications:

 

• BSN degree.

Additional Information:

 

• Responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, medication administration, documentation using EMR, and professional communication with team members.
• Ensure basic care standards such as turning and toileting are met.
• Participate in team huddles and conflict management.
