Exciting Opportunity Awaits You Job Description: - Unit Information: - Open Heart Unit (703) - Address: 550 N Hillside St, Wichita, KS 67214 - Number of Beds: 2 heart rooms with the possibility of a 3rd - Team Composition: - Staff Members: - 4 RNs - 3 CSTs - Day Shift: - 1 CVOR RN - 1 CVOR CST - Night Shift: No night shifts, on-call only - Patient Care: - Ratios: 1:1 - Type of Equipment: Advanced medical technology - EMR System: Meditech / CPN - Requirements: - Must Have: - Minimum 6 months’ current CVOR Tech hospital experience - BLS Certification - NBSTA Certification - Current active KS licensure - Vascular trained - Preferred Skills: - ACLS Certification - Open Heart and Cardiovascular experience - Prior Meditech experience - Procedures Performed: - CABG and AVR - MVR and TAVR - Ideal Candidate Traits: - Confident team player with a positive attitude - Strong focus on patient experience - Excellent communication with staff and providers - Additional Information: - On-call is required: 1 weeknight per week and 1 weekend per month - Exciting opportunity as the ECMO program is restarting!
